Our Strategy |
By working in co-operation with others in the aviation and heritage communities we hope to:
SHORT-TERM – As well as pulling together our own modest Archives and Collections, help raise awareness and educate about all aspects of our subject. This
includes helping other museums, or organizations, tell some aspect of the
Bomber Command story. For example this can be with the long-term loan of an
exhibition display that we have created, or similar outreach activities.
MEDIUM-TERM – Try to establish a small Museum and Archive facility dedicated to all aspects of WWII-period RAF Bomber Command, which includes highlighting the efforts of the Commonwealth and other Free Forces
LONG-TERM - Our ultimate ambition is to be part of a project that helps secure all, or part of a historic heavy bomber station as a fitting environment for a specific UK National WWII Bomber Command Museum about all aspects of our subject.
