BOMBER COMMAND HERITAGE is a voluntary not-for-profit organization. Doing what we can in the 21st Century to remember all those that gave so much for the British and Commonwealth effort during World War II We are on a journey of discovery (often rediscovery) into all aspects related to the RAF Bomber Command story. “To forget this history is to risk such events repeating themselves, and a profound injustice to all those that gave so much.” |

Our limiting factors are the inevitable lack of resources, especially funding. However, we are desperate for help with just about every area and every thing. Premises, expertise, volunteers, donations, equipment, materials, photos, documents, archives, information ...you name it we need it!
Apart from funding, the biggest issue we have to overcome is our current lack of secure storage and workshop space. This is severely limiting our ability to progress projects and consolidate our Archives & Collections. If there are any individuals or organizations out there who can help the please, please PLEASE get in touch! Ideally we would like to be based on some element of a historic aerodrome that would lead to our own museum/display facility. However, our current requirements are really quite modest - use of an old Nissen Hut or MT shed would be fantastic.
